I love this time of year when we get to hear about the colours trends for the upcoming seasons. So hold tight and I will describe ( with the help of Pantone) the beautiful new colours heading to our favourite stores in the very near future....
Pantone 16-4535 TCX – Blue Atoll
“A waterborne blue, Blue Atoll invites thoughts of tropical escape.”
A very Bright Blue – a definite hit for a Winter lady and possibly Bright Spring. Remember there will be different versions of this colour in the shops, all made using different fabrics and therefore slightly different tones. Use your colour swatch to decide if the item you are looking at is right for you!!
Pantone 19-1337 TCX – Fired Brick“A magnanimous reddish brown with finesse and savoir faire.”
Fired Brick is anther trending colour that will be hitting the shops in Autumn/Winter 23/24. A very deep, rich reddish brown colour – would suit Deep Autumn and Deep Winter ladies!
Pantone 16-1544 TCX – Persimmon
“A honeyed coral with a delicate sweetness.”
A beautiful ‘honeyed coral’, gorgeous and warm. Would be perfect for Spring ladies and where it appears more dusky, Autumn ladies too! Would it suit you?
Pantone 13-0535 TCX – Sharp Green
“A pungently keen yellow green, Sharpe Green is expansive and exuberant”
Sharp Green – sharp is the word! This is a yellow green, I’d say warm rather than cool. It sits better with golden coloured jewellery. However if you see this colour reproduced in a more acidic tone then its possibly an option for a Winter lady.
Pantone 15-1624 TCX – Conch Shell
“Conch Shell is a distinctive pink whose engaging demeanour belies it.”
A COOL pink, perfect for a Winter lady!! It could also be worn by a cool Summer lady, who lights up with these strong, bold colours.
Pantone 14-3921 TCX – Lacecap Hydrangea
“Lacecap Hydrangea is a floral blue imbued with the fresh essence of a seasonal bloom.”
Simply stunning and absolutely perfect for Summer ladies. Look out for this dusky, floral blue in all the shops this Autumn / Winter. It is certainly cool and the icy versions of this colour could be adapted by Winter ladies too.
Pantone 16-0847 TCX – Olive Oil
“A naturally nourishing golden Green, Olive Oil is essential to well-being”
Such a rich earthy colour. Olive Oil is an unusual mix of Olive Green, mixed with Bronze and some yellow. Most definitely an Autumn colour. Beautiful and warm.
Pantone 19-3336 TCX – Sparkling Grape
“Tasteful Sparkling Grape has a beguiling appeal.”
Sparkling Grape is one of the colours from this years Pantone Colour Trend report. This is aimed at the fashion world i.e. the high street, and also interior trends too! Purple is sometimes seen as a universal colour i.e. suits must skin types. Look out for this stunning colour this Autumn.
Pantone 14-0957 TCX – Spectra Yellow
“An illuminating yellow, Spectra Yellow speaks to innovation, enlightenment and energy’
Spectra Yellow (some may refer to it as Mustard!!) is ABSOLUTELY still on trend! All Autumn ladies will be jumping for glee at this news – I certainly am!
It works so well with many of the Autumn deeper shades, to add warmth and contrast to an outfit.
Pantone 18-1664 TCX – Fiery Red
“Sexy and sensual, Fiery Red creates excitement.”
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this trending colour for AW 23/24! Fiery Red. Stunning and super sexy!! I could definitely see both Winter ladies and Autumn ladies wearing this, depending on the specific item of clothing. Autumn ladies stick with the warmer, slightly more orange versions and Winters, the more blue toned versions. Perfect for that Seasonal Party!!!
